The new book I am reading is called the Tooth Paste fctory. It is about a boy named Sam who is lonl at home. His parents don't really take care of him. He kinda has to find new ways to keep him self busy. He meets this older man who is about 30 or so. The mans name is Roger. Roger has a dream to open a tooth paste fctory. He already knows about an abandon factory that he has taken over. There are old machine that where left there when the old owner moved out.

 

Sam looks at Roger as something like a father figure. Sam wants to hyelp and get the factory op[en. Everyday after school he goes to the old factory. Sam and Roger run into some trobble when the city mayor finds out what they are doing and trys to shut them down.

I have started reading Fahrenheit 451 by. Ray Bradbury. Fahrenheit 451 is about a man called Montage who works as a fireman. He burns books everyday and thinks he likes his life. He is married to Mildred who lives for TV. Mildred takes pills and trys to kill her self. She does not remember or think she would do anything like that when Montage confronts her the next morning. Montage get confronted by his new neighboor Clairsse. Clairsse is 16 almost 17 and is insane. She is not really insane but she says she is. She is a real odd ball.

 

 

 

Clairsse asks Motage is he is happy and then Montage starts questioning his life. She walks home with him when they first met. It was really weird because she is young and it was really late at night. Montage even started to think that she must have been waiting for him. When Montage got home he finds his wife lifeless on the bed. He calls some home docter service thing. They come it is too guys. They bring in there equiptment and pump her stomach and leave right away.

I just got done reading Romeo and Juliet. I like how it ended but not how I thought it was going to end.  I thought that Romeo was just going to go the Juliet grave and lay on top of it and drink the potion and die. I did not think that there where going to be any other people. I was surprised that Romeo got caught trying to "break" into Juliet toom. I thought it was very interesting that Juliet did not freak out when she found out that she was in her toom. Before she drank the sleeping potion she was like freaking out because she was scared to wake up in a toom.

 

Romeo never did find out that Juliet was not dead. Juliet never really knew Romeo true intentions. I think this was really funny that they both died for fake reason.

I started reading the book in the Alex rider series called storm breaker. It is about a kid named Alex who finds out his uncle and adopted parent Ian rider has died. They where said to have died in a car accident and where not wearing seat belts. Alan Blunt who he describes as a boring person with nothing going on. Alex cuts school to investigate. He finds his uncles car at a junk yard and finds bullet holes in the win shield. The car had not yet been destroyed.

He was asked to come to his uncles bank to get some stuff. Right by the bank their was a spy building called M16. I really have enjoyed this book so far. The first chapter kept you on your feet. I plan to continue with the book. I have herd that the other books in the series get boring and are not very good. I like the first book and maybe read the other books in the series.

     One thing I struggled with during my blogging experience was the fact that I had to get back into reading everyday. During the summer I don't read unless it is in a magazine or a sports article. I over came it by talking to my touter about what a good book would be. She gave me a book and I just started reading. I got into it and before I knew it I was done with the book series. I read all the books and liked them all. I think it help that it was a series of books so that I always had something to read next. One strenght I had with my blogging was getting my words down on the page. I was able to say what I wanted to say about the book because I was so into the book and always had something positive to say about it.

The blog was my best because I was able to give a full summary of the series. I was able to give full character analyze. For example, "The youngest was a kid name Fu. He mastered the fighting style of a tiger. He was young and hot headed, he has a short fuse." All in one sentence I was able to tell all the important parts of the character and tell the read in one sentence.  Also my video I used went well with my blog because, the video was about the series and my blog was about the series.

     Some goals I have for myself for next trimester and my blogging is to read more. I want to be reading every night not just when I remember to. I want to get better at using my good reads account. Lastly I want to get better at blogging in general. I would like my blogs to be longer and more through. My goals for writing my blogs is to get better at using the spell check. I don't always remember to use the spell check and I normally have alot of miss spelled words. I would really like to get better at my use of words. Like instead of using the same words I want to us synonyms instead.

The series of the five ancestors is about five kids that were left at a doorstep. They where left in front of a sanctuary where the best monks trained. From the time they could crawl they started to learn the art of Kong fu. They each learned the art of a different animal. The youngest was a kid name Fu. He mastered the fighting style of a tiger. He was young and hot headed, he has a short fus. Malao master the art of the monkey. He was able to find and join a monkey clan and become one of the crew. He was laid back and did not do that much. Seh mastered the art of the snake. He was quite and kept to him self. But when he talked people listened. Hok mastered the art of the crane. He was the wisest of the group. He did everything by the book. He was quite but did what was best for everyone. Long mastered the fighting style of the dragon. He was killed during the invasion. He was just part of the crew.Ying (Eagle). .  Ying killed everyone who live in the temples. He set fire to them and killed everyone except for the five boys. The boys where able to escape with grandmasters help. But grandmaster got killed by Ying. Ying was looking for the Dragon scroll. I really liked this series. The fact that you could start with any book and end at the same spot. Every book takes you threw the journey of your favorite Monk. Takes you on there journey to restore peace in the nation of China. I love how the characters all flee in different spots but end up finding each other when they need each other the most. There is a lot of inferenceing you need to do for this series. A lot of waiting a chapter or two for an answer. Its a book that once you start you can't put down.

 

Deaf ASL teacher provides real world learning for her students. Sarah Haven was born deaf and her first launge was ASL. She went to a hearing school. Just because she was deaf did not mean she did not have hearing friends; she had plenty of friends. She had to try extra hard because she was going to a hearing school. " My family taught me how to communicate with people, Haven said." She probbaly used home signs in school and at home. A home sign is a gesture that is used to comunicate with people who dont know sign. " I want to help my community be a strong deaf community and have strong connections and interactions with the hearing community."   

 

Haven teaches ASL three at Mason high school. Student half to first take ASL one then ASL two to get the one in a life time appertunity to have a deaf teacher and be able to talk to her. I am in ASL one and Haven comes in every monday and friday and talks to us about continuing with ASL. She really cares about her deaf comunity and really wants to do everything she can to help the deaf comunity and the comunity of Mason.
